[Men's Cross Country] OLLU men's cross-country places fifth in UIW InvitationalPublished by
LIVE OAK, TEXAS (Oct. 11, 2014) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) cross-country men's team escaped the down pouring of rain Saturday morning to finish in fifth place in the 2014 Incarnate Word Cross-Country Invitational at Live Oak City Park. Less than 30 minutes after the race was over, and just after the women began their race, the torrential rain blanketed the area. Head Coach Stephen Sherman said, "It was an interesting day to say the least as the weather was pretty unique. I have ran in and coached in everything ranging from rain to snow, but I have never been involved in a meet where the weather was so vastly different from one race to the other. In the end, however, the men and the women competed well." Read the full article at: www.ollusaintsathletics.com
