[Men's Cross Country] OLLU men's cross-country places second in Billy Libby InvitationalPublished by
ABILENE, TEXAS (Sept. 8, 2014) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's cross-country team came in second place at the Fifth Annual Bill Libby Invitational sponsored by McMurry University. Freshman Gabriel Ellman came in eighth, while sophomore Jonathan Yanez followed in 10th place. Head Coach Stephen Sherman said, "As an alumnus of McMurry and having coached there before, I have a lot of respect for the program that Coach (David) Chandler and Coach Parris are running there. For our women to beat their women by seven points and for their men to beat or men by 7 points is a fun coincidence. We still have a long way to go, but I am very proud of the way both the men and women represented OLLU in Abilene." Read the full article at: www.ollusaintsathletics.com
