[Men's Cross Country] OLLU men place second in conference meet -- Ellman and Yanez set for nationalsPublished by
NEW SUMMERFIELD, TEXAS (Nov. 6, 2014) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's cross-country team finished about six minutes behind first place in the Red River Athletic Conference meet on Saturday morning. As runners-up, this marks the best finish for the men since the cross-country team began competing in 2009. Wiley College was the winner with an overall team time of 2:10:45.3, and OLLU clocked 2:16:04.8. Head Coach Stephen Sherman said, "I am extremely proud of the way the men competed and represented themselves and our institution. The conference is as deep with quality cross-country teams as it has ever been, and OLLU continues to be on the forefront of that development. We will now look forward to the NAIA Cross-Country Meet and to our inaugural track & field season." Read the full article at: www.ollusaintsathletics.com
