[Men's Cross Country] OLLU men's cross-country performance at Midstates disappointingPublished by
WINFIELD, KAN. (Oct. 24, 2015) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's cross-country team finished 11th in the NAIA Midstates Classic, which took place at the Winfield Veterans Home on Saturday morning. The Saints competed against 16 teams, with Oklahoma City University scoring 20 for the win, followed by Wayland Baptist, 51; Benedictine, 108; Doane, 160; McPherson, 190; Southwestern, 196; MidAmerica Nazarene, 206; Park, 217; Friends, 220; Southwestern Assemblies of God, 245; OLLU, 273; Ottawa, 349; Tabor, 352; Sterling, 361; Oklahoma Wesleyan, 380 and Science & Arts, 400. The event was sponsored by Southwestern College. Head Coach Stephen Sherman said, "We always enjoy going up to Winfield as the weather is typically much cooler than we are used to and generally our athletes perform well.
