[Women's Cross Country] OLLU cross-country's Miriam Vazquez has solid day at 2011 national meetPublished by
VANCOUVER, Wash. (Nov. 19, 2011) –Our Lady of the Lake University's Miriam Vazquez made her third trip in three years to the NAIA Women's Cross-Country National Championships this past Saturday at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. Vazquez ran a 21:00 5K, which was good for 273rd place out of 323 runners. This was her highest placing and fastest time she has ran at the NAIA meet. She also finished in sixth place out of 11 runners from the Red River Athletic Conference – two positions better than she finished at the conference tournament a few weeks ago.
