KANSAS CITY, MO. (Nov. 15, 2018) – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Thursday that 223 men's cross country student-athletes have been named 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes. Selected from Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) are Derek Barnett (SR/Mentone Beach, Calif.) and Andrew Moczygemba (JR/San Antonio, Texas).

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
