LIVE OAK, TEXAS (Oct. 10, 2015)  – Jazmine Garcia (SO/Zapata, Texas) of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) finished fifth, while teammate Elena Oslund (JR/Hendersonville, N.C.) finished sixth in the 10th Annual UIW Fall Invitational sponsored by the University of the Incarnate Word at Live Okay City Park Saturday morning.

Winning the Non-Division One Category of the 6K was Midwestern State University with 40 points followed by second-place Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) with 56 points and third-place OLLU with 57 points. They were followed by Trinity University (128), Concordia University-Texas (145), Austin College (161), Southwestern University (167) and Schreiner University (231).

Head Coach Stephen Sherman said, "I am very proud of the women for their performance today. I jumped on the women just this week for not being as focused as they should be thus far this season. When everyone is on the same page and focused the type of result we saw today becomes possible."
