NEW SUMMERFIELD, TEXAS (Nov. 8, 2013) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's cross-country team has captured the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament Championship after finishing first among seven teams competing.

The Saints overall score was 1:38:06.2. The University of Texas at Brownsville finished in second place, followed by Langston University, Wiley College, Bacone College, Jarvis Christian College and Louisiana State University-Shreveport.

Head Coach Stephen Sherman said, "I could not be more proud of the women. I challended them more than any since I arrived at OLLU. In fact, I was not always fun to be around, but it's always because I knew what they were capable of if they went all in. They went all in, and now we have the two best RRAC meet finishes in school history including a women's championship."
