SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 6, 2013) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's and women's cross-country team will travel to New Summerfield, Texas, today for this year's Red River Athletic Conference meet that will be held on Friday at the New Summerfield Independent School District Athletic Complex and hosted by Wiley College. The teams will participate this evening in opening ceremonies

Both the men's and women's team ended their regular season on a high note at the Mid-States Classic at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan. Four runners from the women's team ran faster than the previous school record in the 5K and the team finished in 15th place out of 29 teams.

The men's team had all solid individual results in Kansas. The team will compete as a team for the first time this season, when it will get help from some of the player from the Saints tennis team to fill out the missing spots required for a team score.
