WINFIELD, KAN. (Oct. 27, 2014) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's cross-country team finished at an impressive eighth place in the Southwestern College Mid-States Classic this past weekend.

Head Coach Stephen Sherman said, "We have never finished higher than 15th at the Mid-States meet. I challenged the women to finish in the top 10 this year, and they did just that. I'm proud of the way we've improved and handled ourselves over the past few years. Gaby and Erica performed in an elite way, and Jazmine, Ione, and Bianca held their own."
